Touched by an Angel
So, I comehome from getting sick while out running errands today and feeling really crappy. My diabetic meds do that to me.But much to my surprise, I open my email and I have a truly touching gift! Someone purchased 6 months of extra user pics for my LJ. I cried. It touched my heart so much that someone I have never met would do something so terribly sweet for me!Hehe, I'm still crying.My friend, you are such a sweetheart.Thank you so very much!Truly, I am touched......... by an Angel :)

tell me about it. i put in 16 hours yesterday, another 12 today I'm doing, and i have 12 tomorrow, and 16 again on thursday. arghhhhi'm too old for this shit! LOL
I'm starting to feel too old for this kinda work. It's not that I'm constantly busy, though, that'd be nice since the time would fly, it's the fact that I'm on my feet for 8 straight hours and we don't get dinner breaks or even 15 minute breaks. We take a break whenever we can. That sucks because I don't get the chance to rest really.
I do phone work from my home and i never schedule myself a break at all. I generally put in at least 12 hours a day, if not more. I'll run to the bathroom, but that's about the only breaks I get :( At 46, I shouldn't have to put so many hours in. Be wise, plan for your future, honey and don't make the same mistakes I've made.*hugs*
